Referral services by area of law are offered to help you find a lawyer who will provide you with information, advice or legal opinion.

These referrals do not constitute a recommendation from the Barreau du Québec.
Not all members of the Barreau are registered for these services, only those who wish to participate and who register voluntarily. Many offer the initial consultation at a reduced rate. Here is the contact information to find a lawyer near your home or workplace.

Make sure you and your lawyer clearly understand the mandate you wish to give him and the cost of his services. In many cases, the initial consultation can last more than 30 minutes. It is important to have an agreement with the lawyer regarding the price of any extra time spent with him during this consultation.
